Chef Eye
During the 'Supernova' era in 2001, Lisa announced that she wanted to create a cook book and start a healthy kids cooking show, all titled 'Chef Eye'. She revealed this in a chat room with fans that she wanted a to have a cooking show where kids would come and she'd teach then how to cook healthy food in-replacements for any of the sugary, unhealthy products they digest on a daily basis, all of what she'd learn while being in The Bush.
It was announced via Left Eye Updates on September 14th, 2001 that Lisa had this idea, and was recording the pilot for this show. It's currently unreleased.
The day Lisa opened up her website, Eyenetics.net, Lisa announced that she wanted the fans to be apart of this book as well by help creating the 'Recipe Contest'. The winning recipe(s) would win a spot in her cook book as recommended exclusive(s) by the fans.
Some of Lisa's recipes for the book were exposed to her website (you can go to 'Site Ingredients' under 'Eyenetics.net' and see them). After her passing, The Lisa Lopes Foundation made it key to teach kids how to cook, live, and eat healthy based on what they had to offer and what Lisa left behind. 'Chef Eye' was never brought up again, however, until 2016. Lisa's sister, Reigndrop Lopes, decided to pick up where Lisa left off, deciding to fulfill that prophecy for her sister, dropping sneak peaks of her Kids Cooking Show on her instagram page (reigndroplopes) called 'KidsRChefs'. The show never came to light, but Reigndrop did state she was going to an Orphanage ritually to teach stuff she would teach on the show and wanted to do a TV show where she'd go to peoples homes, and help substitute anything in their home that's bad for them for something more beneficial for their health. Basically, like those shows where people would trade in any of your non-stylish clothes for stylish clothes that suit the person better. It has not came to light yet, but some clips of previous works have been released to YouTube.
"It's for children and we cook fun, fast, healthy meals. I've been cooking since I was 10 and I am a very good cook because I am a creative person. I want to show people that you can make healthy food without using meat, sugar or dairy products that still taste great." - Lisa
"Yes. You can make everything from soups, desserts, breakfast, lunches, dinners, snacks, smoothies, shakes, sauces, breads, spreads and more. To get some ideas, look at other recipes. You can find them on the web and in the library or in the book stores or at Your Grandma's house. Just remember to substitute Maple Syrup with Sugar, or Almond Milk with Cow's Milk, or Portabella Mushrooms with Steak, etc. You can only use the ingredients from the list to be eligible to win a spot in the Cheft Eye cookbook for the Recipe Contest. Lots of Love & Peace Out." - Lisa
