Vegetable Curry (Serves 2-4 people)

 

1 Yellow Onion

1 Green Bell Pepper

4 Red Potatoes

1 Bunch of Broccoli

Green Cabbage

2 tsp. Sea Salt. Plus two extra dashes

3 tbs. Curry Powder

A dash of Cayenne Pepper

Olive Oil

1 Stick Corn Oil Margarine

1 Deep dish pan

1 Small Pot

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Turn to your favorite radio station

  2. Rinse all veggies

  3. Dice all veggies

  4. In a deep-dish pan, lightly cover the bottom (inside of the pan!) with olive oil

  5. On medium heat setting, start cooking onions and peppers in pan

  6. In a separate small pot, fill halfway with water and boil red potatoes on high heat (Boiling your potatoes in water first will remove excess unwanted starch!)

  7. Take the next 2 minutes to dance and stir onions and peppers to keep them from sticking.

  8. Add a stick of corn oil margarine. 6 tablespoons of curry. 3 tablespoons of cumin. 2 teaspoons of curry. 3 tablespoons sea salt and a dash of cayenne pepper to pan.

  9. Once all of your seasonings have soaked up in the margarine, add 3 cups of water and green cabbage and cover your pan with a lid. (Do NOT stir!)

  10. Use the next 7 minutes to clean up and dance. Always keeping an Eye on the food!Drain potatoes and add to your pan (Do NOT stir!) Lightly sprinkle potatoes with sea salt.                 

  11. Add broccoli to pan on top of the potatoes and lightly sprinkle broccoli with sea salt.

  12. Cover, and let cook for 7 more minutes.

  13. Enjoy!

Seamoss/Bladderwrack Mix

Yields approx. 1 Quart.

 

½ tsp. Powdered Seamoss

¼ cup Maple Syrup (or to taste)

½ tsp. Cinnamon

½ tbs. Vanilla

1 cup Fresh Fruit  (optional)

1 quart Spring Water

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Place seamoss, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla in blender.

  2. Add boiling spring water and blend for 3-4 minutes

  3. For a creamier taste, add a handful of blanched raw almonds or walnuts (optional)

 

Nourish yourself with as much of this drink as you like!

Bedrock Stew (Serves 4-6 people)

 

1 Yellow onion

6 Red potatoes

1 Bunch of broccoli

2 Portobello mushrooms

1 lb. of green beans

1 tbs. Sea salt

2 tbs. Cumin

6 tbs. Old Bay seasoning

A dash of cayenne pepper

1 large pot


 

Preparation:

 

  1. Throw on your favorite tune.

  2. Fill pot halfway up with water and place heat setting on high to bring water to a boil.  

  3. Rinse all veggies. :)

  4. Cut red potatoes into halves and add to water.

  5. Peel brown skin off of onion and cut onion in half leaving stems at both ends. Place onion halves to the side

  6. Snap ends off of green beans. Leaving the rest of the beans whole. Place green beans to the side.

  7. Cut mushrooms into sections of four. Place mushrooms to the side.

  8. Cut broccoli into large sections. Place broccoli to the side.

  9. Drain potatoes and leave them in the pot. Fill pot halfway with water. (Potatoes should not be done yet. This boiling process is to remove starch!)

  10. Place pot back on the stove and turn heat up to a medium high setting.

  11. Add onion halves to water

  12. Add 1 tablespoon of sea salt. 2 tablespoons cumin. 6 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning  and a dash of cayenne pepper.

  13. Use the next 20 minutes to clean up and relax. Always keeping an Eye on your food.

  14. Add the mushrooms and Broccoli and let cook for an additional 7 minutes.

  15. Enjoy!
