The Fire
If you were looking for a short, yet detailed, story, a collection of released information of what happened the night that changed the lives of many, including Left Eye, then don't look any further!
Simply a night where everything went too far, and enough was enough... The love between Lisa and Andre was heavy! Sometimes, too heavy! They only been together for around a year when this event happened June 9th, 1994 where Lisa burned Andre's house down. A lot of people seem to have the story twisted. Let's display a quick, yet detailed, way where more bases are covered, and evened out.
How it Started...
Every relationship hit a sour point. Sometimes to the point where it could have been the point of no return... Lisa and Andre were going through problems with their relationship, and at this point reached a whole new level. Lisa voiced how Andre was an amazing & giving man, but was too leaning towards his family and friends. It got to the point where they would walk all over her, and cause hell in their relationship. He would even treat them the better sometimes then he treated her, and it was sending over the edge. Especially after catching him cheating before with other women and would come home late. He didn't want her to go out. She didn't mind staying home, but it got to the point where he needed permission to do things, becoming obedient towards him and never went out unless it was TLC or family related. This night, Lisa decided to not cheat, but go out late with friends and family members in a revealing outfit (a flirty mini-skirt) to find Andre, and make him jealous. It didn't go as planned, however. As they club hopped, looking for him, they couldn't find him, and Lisa was drinking every step of the way. It was upsetting her that things were not going according to her plan. She went to many of their usual spotsuntil she decided to call it quits, and head back home at 5am, drunk and emotional.
The Escalation
As soon as Lisa and her crew made it home, Andre car still wasn't in the driveway. This made Lisa mad even more for the fact that she did all this, and at least thought he'd be home before her. 5 minutes after, Andre pulled up with his boys. His boys started teasing Lisa and was basically not making the situation better. Andre asked her "What do you have on??" Lisa, enraged, approached him, started cussing him out, and started smacking him repeatedly. Andre made her stop and they took the argument to the bedroom. Lisa's Uncle Kyle was there, and never been through this with her and Andre where some of Andre's relatives that lived with them would let them argue to the point where they start fighting upstairs.
The Blackout
Andre ended up throwing Lisa to the floor, cussing her out, and ripping her clothes off. When Lisa started fighting back harder, Lisa said he balled up into a ball, and let her take her frustrations out. Left Eye said she blacked out at this point. Her Uncle Kyle said he kept trying to get into the bedroom to break it up, but Andres boys were blocking the door, and they started fighting outside the door. Andre came out and apologized to Uncle Kyle, told him he don't like putting her hands on Lisa, but he knows how she can be sometimes. During her black out, Lisa had came out the door, and started fighting her Uncle too because she didn't believe he was trying to help her before she found out that he was. She also started looking for knifes and started boxing with Andre as well before he decided to leave to get some air from everything.
The Incident
When Lisa came to, she was still pissed. She was crying and talking with her uncle. She then went to the bathroom, looked herself in the mirror, and started getting even more mad, seeing all the bruises on her arms and on her face. One bruise went from the outside of her lip to the inside of her lip. At this point, Lisa was ready to let it all out again, but while walking, she noticed a bunch of fresh pairs of tennis shoes had been delivered from Nike. Her Uncle Kyle said Andre had an endorsement with them and he got a bunch of shoes from them. All fit every size you could think of, but hers. This clicked as one of those moments where Andre would think of everyone else, but herself when it came to giving. Sometimes he would give her hand-me downs while buying everyone else fresh and brand new stuff off the market. It pissed her off and started throwing everything in the tub, ready to lite it on fire. The last time she did this, she caught him cheating with another women. It was Valentine's day and she threw all the stuff she bought him in the tub and and sat it on fire. She also wrote a message to him on their bedroom wall all of how she felt. She did it again this time in the bathroom. After she wrote it out, she then lit the shoes in the tub on fire. It was a marble tub then, but she didn't remember that he replaced it with Fiber glass this time, and the fire spread through out the entire house! Lisa was hypnotized by the flames until her sister Reigndrop broke the spell by pulling her out the bathroom. When they got outside, one of Andre's boys got into Lisa's face like they were going to fight her. They had friends and family members living with them there and not only was it their lost, but their company's losses as well. The same guy who was in her face took a vacuum cleaning pipe, and started smashing her car window. When he finished, she took the vacuum pipe, and bashed every window in both Andre's cars before driving away with her Uncle Kyle, her sister, and her sister boyfriend, passing Andre on the way to the Hospital. The entire house went up into flames. As far as we know, unless Lisa told him, Andre never got the message she wrote on the wall.
The Result
Lisa said after a feeling came over her after seeing the fire, saying "The house of evil... burned to the ground." They went to the hospital, and they cleaned her up as well as they could before the press came and they had to leave. Even though she didn't have anything to do with the group anymore, Pebbles got a call about what happened, and had met them at the hospital. An emergency meeting with LaFace was orchestrated and they had to go to the hotel to meet everyone there IMMEDIATELY. T-Boz, Chilli, Babyface, LA Reid, Uncle Kyle, Lisa's mother Wanda, and others were there with Lisa as they focused on fixing her up and figuring out where to go from here. Lisa turned herself in.

In result: Lisa was sent to jail until her sentencing, which was 5 years probation, and she was court-ordered to rehabilitation. She said she enjoyed her time in jail more then her time in rehabilitation, where she felt she didn't need to be, but gained a lot from being there. Not only did she meet her best friend, Trena, there, but also gained a new perspective on life.

As for Lisa and Andre? Although his friends, family, and himself misrepresented her in the media, they still stayed together after, but were on and off over the years. They were engaged to be married many times. The wheels were really turning in 2001, but the wedding was called off. He was in her life still even when she still moved on. Although eerie, after she passed, he married, and had more kids with another woman named Lisa Lopez.
