Left Eye Helps Saves a Fans Life!
An Author by the name of Angela Thomas reveals that a line from Left Eye's rap from TLC's "Waterfalls" and her mom providing her with a phone conversation with Left Eye helped saved her life!
After being bullied in 6th grade because of having the highest GPA in her elementary school, she became suicidal, and was ready to end her life by overdosing from medication in the bathroom of her home with her Mom trying to get her out the bathroom from the other side of the door, music playing in her headphones to drown her mother out until "Waterfalls" came on. She was already a huge TLC fan at such a young age, and always loved the song, but she decided to hear the words more closely this time, and hearing "Dreams are hopeless aspirations in hopes of coming true. Believe in yourself. The rest is up to me and you" was enough to help encourage her stop and think about what she's doing.
Angela left the bathroom and told her mother what happened. Her mom did whatever she could to not only thank Left Eye directly, but to maybe see if Left Eye had anymore words that can help her daughter. She called everywhere she could, but struck luck when she got a hold of the phone number to Left Eye's in home studio, UNI Studios. Her Assistant, Stephanie Dayton, answered the call, and brought her over to Left Eye. Angela's mother told her what happened and Left Eye spoke to Angela. Angela mind was completely blown by speaking to Left Eye, and hearing her tell her that she knows how she feels, that it can be like this sometimes, and that there's DEFINITELY a rainbow at the other side of this storm. 💜🤔💜
It's so beautiful that Left Eye took the time to speak to her and that Angela's mother went to such extent for her child. So beautiful! 💜💜
