Lisa Left Eye hopes for Maddie

Mel C's performing with Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopez on 'TOTP' tomorrow, and it's the first time they've got together for the song since they recorded it.

To say Lisa's pint-sized is an understatement - even Kylie would dwarf her - but she can command a fair whack to perform on a track.

No-one will disclose any figures, but you're probably looking anywhere from Ł30,000 to Ł150,000. Lisa says she's into a bit of trading: "I like to get paid but it doesn't always have to be in money, maybe it's not in the budgets so I'll take a lesser fee if you agree to record on my album in the future."

Lisa's scouting about for people to collaborate with on her solo album. She says she'd love to work with Lenny Kravitz and Lil Kim but especially Madonna: "As much as I love her and look up to her, I've never run into her," she told Radio 1. "I think we should do a trio," Mel added.

Lisa Left Eye gone AWOL

The MTV Awards took place last night in New York. In the end, it was a tie between Eminem and *NSYNC.

Eminem got three - Video of the Year, Best Male Video for ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and shared Best Rap Video with Dr Dre for ‘Forget About Dre’.

Other winners included Aaliyah who beat Christina and Britney to Best Female Video. Blink 182, Sisqo, Macy Gray, Destiny's Child, also all received a gong, while Icelandic pop queen, Bjork, picked up two.

Lisa Left Eye Lopez from TLC has gone missing. She hasn't been seen for a week and missed a family party at the weekend and a band press conference on Tuesday. In the past she has set fire to an ex-boyfriend's house and smashed up cars. Her publicist says friends are very worried.

Left Eye Lopes spotted

There's been a sighting of TLC's Lisa Left Eye Lopes in New Orleans.

She'd disappeared for over a week, missing a family party and a band press conference. Her publicist said everyone was very worried about her.

Now an American TV crew say they spotted her in a hotel with her boyfriend, but she's not been back there since.

Left Eye up for TLC album

The MTV Europe awards were announced today, with 21 awards in all, including nine for different countries.

In the UK category; Robbie, Travis, Craig David, Sonique and Westlife fight it out. Robbie's heading the nominations with five in all and Sonique's done well with four.

She told Radio 1: "That's brilliant, I can't believe it. I've just got to say thanks to all my fans. Even if I don't win anything, it's just nice to be nominated seeing as I'm so fresh on the scene. We're gonna go out tonight and have a drink for sure."

Close behind her is Britney Spears with three nominations, as are Travis, Madonna and Bon Jovi.

Wyclef Jean is hosting the ceremony in Stockholm on November the 16th.

He says he's bringing his own special charms to the event: "A combination of charisma, humour, sexy, sassy, slutty at times. I will not take my clothes off. Unless a girl takes them off for me."

Wyclef's also up for Best Hip Hop act along with Eminem, Dr Dre, Cypress Hill and Busta Rhymes. He says if he won he'd like to have the award presented by Bono but told Radio 1 he's more interested in getting up close to the Spicey's, who are performing: "I look forward to touching the Spice Girls. Giving the Spice Girls a big hug and kisses and licking their faces. That's what I wanna do."

Luckily Wyclef only hugged Mel C on stage this afternoon at the nominations party. Mel's received three nominations; Best New Act, Best Single for 'Never Be The Same Again', and Best Female where she's up against Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears.

Let's not forget Lisa Left Eye's contribution to that track. She's in London at the moment, preparing for the MOBO awards on Wednesday. Radio 1 broke the news to her that she'd been nominated along with Mel: "Wow. It feels good. The MTV Awards are a bit unorthodox compared to the rest of the award shows - it's fun."

There's been a lot of press recently about how she went missing for a few days and that TLC are planning solo careers.

But Lisa says she would do another TLC album if the others agreed. And admitted she wants to do a track with Lil Kim and Madonna. Kim has already agreed but Lisa says Madonna would be the 'icing on the cake'.

Left Eye loses her pants

Lisa Left Eye Lopes is not only co-hosting the MOBO Awards, she'll also be performing at them. She's performing with Donnel Jones and hoping that she doesn't have a repeat of their last duet.

"I remember my pants came down and he ran backstage to change his clothes and he didn't make it back out on the stage. It was crazy, now we have another chance to do it again. Hopefully that won't happen this time."
